While a Life Scout, Scouts must plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to a religious institution, school, or community. The project must benefit an organization other than Scouting. A project proposal must be approved by the organization benefiting from the effort, the unit leader and unit committee, and the council or district prior to starting the project. Resources:
The Life Scout should bring his Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook, No. 512-927 with all required signatures, except the district signature. The Scout should arrive on time, and wear their field uniform.
